These standards explain how InstiGuard prepares and publishes its materials. They set out how we work with documents and sources, distinguish facts from claims and analysis, seek and present institutional responses, correct factual errors, and protect personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

InstiGuard is an independent civic documentation platform. It is not a court, a regulatory authority, or a provider of legal advice. The platform does not determine legal, disciplinary, or personal liability; it documents the available record and explains questions of public interest as clearly and fairly as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

InstiGuard publishes material in the public interest with accuracy, fairness, and documentary clarity as its starting points. We aim to present relevant records in a form that citizens can examine and understand, without presenting allegations, assumptions, or interpretation as established fact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our reporting and analysis are based, wherever possible, on primary documents, official correspondence, legal acts, court decisions, public records, and other verifiable sources. When information is incomplete, disputed, or unavailable, we state that clearly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

InstiGuard gives priority to primary and official sources whenever they are available. These may include administrative acts, municipal-council decisions, court decisions, official correspondence, public registers, meeting records, published reports, and responses obtained through access-to-information procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We identify sources as clearly as possible and link to the original record where publication is lawful and technically possible. When a document is not publicly available, we describe its origin, date, author or issuing body, and the part of it relevant to the publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not treat a statement as established simply because it appears in a complaint, a media report, a social-media post, or a single document. Where sources conflict, where context is missing, or where verification is incomplete, we state the limitation and avoid presenting a conclusion as final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
