A public dispute over a municipal ordinance does not end with a court judgment. Members of the public have a legitimate interest in knowing how the normative act was adopted, what the Regional Governor reviewed, and what rules are being applied after the judicial annulment.
A written request for information was sent to the Mayor of Asenovgrad Municipality. It concerned implementation of the final judicial ruling, internal measures taken by the municipality, and the conditions for access to the relevant service. Receipt of the letter was confirmed.
As of the publication date, InstiGuard has not received a written response from the Mayor to the questions raised. If a response is received, it will be published or accurately summarised after personal data have been redacted.
Eco Transport Asenovgrad EOOD has provided a written response stating that it does not offer service subscriptions to natural persons and referring them instead to a preferential parking regime linked to their permanent address. The response may be made available upon request in a redacted version that removes personal data.

InstiGuard publishes primary-source documents where they are in the public interest and where publication does not disproportionately interfere with individuals’ privacy. Before publication, personal addresses, national identification numbers, bank details, telephone numbers, email addresses, signatures, and other information not necessary to understand the public-interest issue are redacted.
